I played BF6 Beta Both Days, and half to say it’s a lot Better than Warzone. I won’t even compare it to Multiplayer as that’s not realistic War for me . The realism’s is pretty good to me . Definitely have to get use to taking my time and using strategies. Which is going to be difficult if you don’t have everyone on the same page. All in all will probably drop COD for BF6 !!

BF does definite have the "squad" vibe. You can tell when people "get it" while ingame because they are tougher to defeat. I use to laugh when listening to people play and those that understood squad dynamics were always getting called out for cheating and hacking.

Yeah definitely, I usually run solo in cod but will definitely be looking to party up in bf.
I'm on PS5 in New Zealand so if anyone on this weekend I'd be keen to squad up ?

I managed to play for about 3 hours today and I gotta be honest it was a completely different experience from last weekend and not in a good way !

Constantly loosing gun fights , shoot first die first is prolly my biggest complaint , it didn't matter what class or weapon I was using.

Disappointed with the map sizes all small and very very cluttered.
I'd hoped they'd have some bigger maps for a bit more strategic play but it plays more like a fast paced cod run and gun.

I struggled to identify the enemy unless they were right out in the open , to many dark corners rooms etc (I've optimised my settings).

When I did try and slow it down a bit and take my time I just got shot in the back , that's what it felt like all the time spawn , die , spawn die , spawn get 1-2 kills then die rinse and repeat.

Apparently there are no big maps at launch either so it will be EA run and gun COD.

Oh well I'll get some sleep and see if it's any better tomorrow. How's the rest of you finding it ?

Conquest is the mode for the large scale battles.

They need to sell more copies of this game. That's why there are some maps that are small and "cluttered." They are obviously marketing it to CoD players. They want the casual.

The entire beta reminds me a lil bit of CoD4. But that's kinda what BF3 and BF4 was in some respects. BF4 sold pretty well, but was a bit primitive. I chalk or chalked it up to the abilities of the consoles.

Here, they're doing everything they've ever wanted. BF6's benchmarks show that Frostbite is being pushed.

Battlefield 6 has taken some heat for the cramped, close-quarters maps featured in the beta, but Battlefield Studios wants everyone to know bigger maps are coming.

In response to one of many Battlefield 6 beta players complaining that "maps are way too small" and "it feels too fast," Battlefield lead producer David Sirland assured likeminded players that filling the beta with smaller than expected maps was by design and that they aren't fully representative of the game's full map selection.

"Speed is a factor of map size," Sirland said. "We picked these maps to make sure we hit the full-octane version of Battlefield on the head - and made everyone see we can handle that too. Large maps exist, and the tempo scales accordingly, you'll be able to see soon enough!"

The more I hear about the Portal the more my interest in this keeps going up. It has been said that there will be tools to design your own maps to some degree and as a former level designer back in the good old days of COD this has really taken hold of my interest. Depending on what is available and can potentially be done this may take up more of my time than the game itself!!
