Best Sniper Rifle

Ive been hearing alot of speculation over which is the best Sniper. Which do u think is the best and why?

It is the M21 EBR, I feel like it is the Modern Warfare 2 version of MA043.

- Good Recoil.
- Faster response time.
- Deadly rifle after two shots. Or one if you can aim at the right place at the right time.

Its even more deadlier with a silencer. You don't even need a sight....at all. But if you do need it for your own sight, then grab the bling perk. Otherwise, if your rifle is naked, you're completely exposed: Loud gunshots, and you're on radar, and if you miss. You fucked up.

No offense but I gotta disagree. i rather the intervention because its almost always a one shot kill even without stopping power. I do agree with u though that adding a silencer is the best way to go.

Not offended! Its your opinion.

Intervention feels a little heavy, which makes it harder to control IMO. I've seen people pull off one-shot kills with it, but I've never actually done it. To me, its the R700 of MW2.

I as well like the Intervention. To me I believe that its the only real sniper in this game. The rest are just over sized normal rifles. And plus the Intervention is an easy one shot kill. Plus add a silencer, cold blooded, slieght of hand, and steady aim its so beast. Imo at least.

Umm, intervention w/ silencer and SP is like chest up one shot kills..., don't have CB and silencer to the intervention unless you like 2 shot kills with nasty recoil but on hardcore its useful.

And even w/ stopping power and w/out a silencer its stomach up for OSK's

And btw im shocked that you cant see the difference between the M40 and the M21, ones bolt-action.

I find in Multi Player, the intervention because of it's superior accuracy over the others, But in Single Player I think the Dragunov is the best, It's a fusion of the Intervention and the Barrett (The Intervention's Accuracy, the Barrett's speed and mag size).

my opinion on snipers are that the intervention is use for like doing tricks e.g 360 i know you can do that with all snipers buts the intervention seems to be the main one to do it with the barret is a sniper were you no mater what its going to be a 1 shot kill the wa and the m21 are sort of sneaky snipers with silences one shot and there like were did that come from before they know it you have shot the again

yess! intervention ftw! getting 1 shot kills and quickscoping with that is just awesome. and yeah, the only "real" sniper lol. but i dont like adding silencer and coldblooded cus cant get 1 shot kills often
but yeah..intervention, definately.

Intervention is a good gun, I agree, but I don't feel comfortable with it. So, I use the M21 EBR if I want to snipe.

idk which of you guys i agree with. the intervention is a fantastic sniper, but i can also relate to what you are saying about the m21. i do like both of them a lot. but i have to say that the barrett 50. cal is the best. its semi automatic which means if you miss a quick scope you didnt fuck yourself over. but it also has the same damage as the intervention. and if you dont believe what im saying, thats fine, its your opinion. but if you want proof go to youtube and look up ireapzz mw2 montage.

Agree with the majority, Intervention. Main thing, you can Quick Scope. The Intervention is great if your especially good at Quick Scopes...

I prefer the Intervention. You could easily kill the person in 1 shot. The M21 EBR kills the person in two shots. Unless you shoot the head
