Breaking news Jimmy carter dies at age 100

Jimmy Carter has died on December 29th, 2024 he was 100 years old. He was an American politician who served as the 39th president of the United States from 1977 to 1981. A member of the Democratic Party, Carter served as the 76th governor of Georgia from 1971 to 1975 and in the Georgia State Senate from 1963 to 1967.

I don't know him much, I was born shortly after he left office. His "legacy" is similar to Joe Biden.

I don't think he did "well." But I'm not gonna trash someone who'd just died. That's not me.

In Canada in December 1952 the Chalk River nuclear power reactor had a partial meltdown after 2 or 3 control rods got stuck. Jimmy Carter and a contingent of American military specialists were brought to the facility to help fix the issue.

Chalk River is only a couple of hours drive from my home here in Ottawa and Jimmy Carter is well known to this area.

Rest in Peace.

Well, I was born just before his time in office and I can say he has been known to me as "The worst POTUS ever" Which has been ahem changed now. But I will give the man props for after his time in office. That dude got more stuff done after he left office than he did in office. RiP President Carter and Bravo Sir
