During Microsoft's Xbox Games Showcase livestream, Activision and Treyarch sprung a surprise reveal of a new Call of Duty game. There was no hype, no pre-livestream announcement. It was revealed via a "One More Thing." Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 was the very last announcement of Xbox Games Showcase. It was a teaser trailer, and the full reveal begins sometime Summer 2025.

I’m honestly NOT excited for this next entry. At all. I mean, how much can we possibly milk the Black Ops series? Only the first one and Cold War are any good IMO. Also, I despise how they’re going back to a futuristic setting.

I'm quite excited. The BO6 omnimovement was a great addition, can't wait to see what we'll get in BO7. I really enjoyed IW so I may be biased w/ this futuristic intro, even though it has been confirmed there will be no wall-jumping for this opus.

Looks good I have just started black ops 6 so can't wait for 7

Just another season of Black ops 5 and 6. Its nothing new, just more skins and weapons.
