I will go ahead and make a new service here at CODForums. I will launch a "Premium" User Upgrade. In other words, for an amount that I specify in this thread - you will be able to have:
- A Colored Username, Glow & Title.
- Future Feature: A custom userbar (an small lil rank ribbon for your membercard)
- Future Feature: Bigger Avatar Size.
- Future Feature: Private Forum.
- Idea Feature: High Priority into contest(s) and/or Automatic Entry into contest(s), etc.
All for $20 per year.
All you have to do is click an administrator's avatar, click "Start a Conversation" and ask to upgrade your username. I will give you the address where you'll send a paypal transaction.
The whole point of this user upgrade is to...
- Increase site revenue.
- Give users an incentive to be active on the site.
- See who is very serious about helping the site.
The funds will be used for various reasons...
- Server payments.
- Server upgrades.
- Software annual renewals.
- If budget permits: Advertising & Marketing.
- If budget permits: Contest Prizes.
However, there are a few rules:
- You will not disclose the e-mail address to anyone.
- You will not disclose the amount you transacted over paypal or any other payment method.
- You will not dispute the transaction via any payment method.
Breaking these rules will result in one of these ways:
- Usergroup stripped from your account and the usergroup deleted.
- Punishable by case basis: Banned from forums for "x" amount of days or weeks.
- Punishable by case basis: Banned from forums permanently.
These rules are set to prevent any drama, any dispute, any losses, or any other future troubles.
