On November 28th, xenForo Ltd. released xenForo 2.0.0 to active license holders. I am one of them. However, I did not immediately upgrade, because there wasn't an updated version of a skin called "Tactical." I've waited for months for it. Now, the talented folks at Audentio has released Tactical for xenForo 2.0.0, I took the plunge, and upgraded the site. I will update the site as I go along. If you have any issues, just let me know and I'll get down to business. I know that some areas need work, so just bear with me.

Welcome to CODForums 4.0!

The site feels more responsive, fluid and fast! I'm liking the upgrade! I would recommend a few things though.

1. Allow what type of style users want in the "Preferences" Tab. i.e. Switching on user-side only. This would only include differences in backgrounds. (WW2, Infinite Warfare, MWR, AW and so on.)

2. When users reach a certain post count have a title set for each post. 1 - 25 = NONE // 50 = Newbie/Private // 100 = Sergeant/Veteran // 200 = Exalted/Lt. and so on.

3. Edit the poster info to not include a drop-down box, just show the info right out of the gate. (Like in image below, edit to show Join date, post count and likes) This would be really cool if you did this. Would keep a lot of us busy trying to get to the next "milestone" in post counts.

Overall, I love the new Xenforo style, feel and overall fluidity of the website. Feels really good!

Good job!

Although I'd like to do this... I don't think it's ideal at the moment. Right now, I need to get the issues out of the way. I'm already on the line with Audentio about the twin scrollbars, which is a glitch. Maybe when the new Call of Duty is revealed, I'll add the new one. For now, I'll stick with WW2 > Next Gen COD. WW2 will be choosable when the game comes out, but going forward that's how it will be. Unless there's demand for a particular game.

In the old xenForo 1, I made it so that the ranks upgrade, but I don't know how the behavior works in XF2. I'll table this and see what happens. But you have a custom title. That's why you have the rank you currently have. But it is something I brought up to xenForo during the XF2 beta phase.

I'll look at this eventually. I'll ask how to get this done. XF1 and XF2 are fundamentally different, so allow me to look into this - It'll be done. But I do not want people to be spamming just for the fuck of the ranks. Please do not encourage it. (Done)

Thanks for the replies and as for ranks I don’t think you’ll have too many spammers on this site

Looks good Carlos.

Love that you're trying to keep forums alive and you know me, even though I might not be as active with all the IRL stuff I have going on but I'll be here. :)
