Activision (and co.) revealed Call of Duty: Ghosts' first downloadable content most recently, but today, Activision and co. revealed their new marketing strategy named "CODnapped." This will be the new style of advertisement that Activision & Co. has decided to go with in this iteration. Onslaught will be released to Xbox Live members - Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners - on January 28th, 2014. The first DLC will include 4 multiplayer maps, one extinction episode, and one weapon. Ignition
Fog

The new Extinction episode is:
Night Fall [Episode 1: NightFall]

The new CODGhosts weapon is:
Maverick A2 Sniper Rifle

Just a quick note: That Maverick A2 Sniper Rifle is actually a hybrid - you can use it as an assault rifle, or a sniper rifle.
