For some reason every time i exit COD Cold war my level resets. Does anyone know why?

So i got to prestige 6 then i had to exit my game and when i went back on, it reset to lvl 1

Same thing happens to me, I emailed the official support about it back in the June 2022 and they said they're aware and are working on it. Started playing again recently and the issue is still there.
