Warzone Holy Carp!!! What A Dearth!!!

OK, so I played a round of Season 2 this morning..

There is a complete DEARTH of goodies and chests... I played for like 5-7 mins and cleared half the SubPen.. Grabbed a Cash Balloon and let 'er rip not even bothering to check my balance..

$17,000!!!! That's it!!! Clearing HALF the SubPen and THAT is all the cash I came up with.. Of the chests I COULD find, many of them were orange ones, so that's a plus.... But there doesn't seem to be much of anything lying around.. Very few cash bundles, armor plates or much of anything..

I think this happened once during a season change at Verdansk, so it's likely (hopefully) a temporary problem..

I also noticed that the KA-CHUNK KA-CHUNK of loading up the Cash Balloon is a LOT louder...

And oh yea.. Those re-deployment balloons are annoying as hell.. I come out of indoors and see all those Redeployment Balloons and I think, "HOLY FRAK!!!! CHOPPERS!!!"...

That's all the changes I have noticed so far...

Wow, just f...king wow! This game (Season 2) really sucks - I mean like a F5 Hurricane. In Season 1 I usually had greater than $750K (several times over $2M) and multiple kills (>5). Season 1 had its issues, but it was fun to play. Season 2 is dog poo. I'm probably done with it for quite awhile. I'll check back in 30 days and see if season 3 is any better. If things change for the better, let me know, I'll try it, but I'm not holding out any hope that will happen.

Yea, I hear ya.. Like I said, I think this happened a season or 2 back and it was fixed within a few days..

I am hoping the same holds true this time...

Unfortunately, the way I see it, its probably only going to go downhill… based on what I’ve seen in previous CoDs. So, until activision lets go of their greed, or Microsoft takes full control, you might just need to use what you’ve got.

Yea, I have found that I seem to be more sucked into gun battles now that cash loot is not very prevalant..

Okay, back to "sort of" normal. Finished a round in 3rd with over $1M. Was in the lead most of the game, but got into an area where there weren't very many cash boxes. Lost my position very quickly. But the good news is that more cash is available now.

This must be a very recent development..

I played a few rounds this morning and it was still very cash-lite...

I played for a about 4 hours yesterday afternoon and the cash was spotty. Some rounds there was lots of cash boxes (and cash lying around), but on others not so much so. But overall, much better than the first few days when season 2 started.

Yea, it's still not what it was like in S1, but it IS getting better..

Currently, about half the Loot Boxes do NOT have any cash in them... The lying around bundles are a bit better, but w/o the cash in the Loot Boxes, it's a slog to build up the cash..

Under the way things are right now, it's more lucrative to loot bodies than boxes...

Speaking of that... I've kill a few people at the very start of the game and they have tons of cash. How the hell is that possible? Are they spawning with thousands of dollars? I mean some dude parachutes in, I blow is sorry ass away, and get $30K+.

Yea, it's the same situation where we're like 5-10 mins into the round and someone hit's the million dollar mark kicking in the OT round..

There must be some kind of money hack or sumthin...

We're in agreement: neither one of us likes teams. Quads especially throw off the balance of the game. If each person in a quad gets $250K, then the team easily hits $1M. At the same time, individuals are lucky if they can reach the $250K match. So, the objective of Plunder is most money wins. Therefore, I believe that Plunder should not be team based, or if teams are used, then the net value of the money collected should be divided by the number of team members. The individuals may collect $250K in a quad team, but the "team" earnings are 1/4 the sum total of the individuals. Now we would have a really balanced game play and each round would probably last the full 30 minutes (which is good). Just saying.

Or Activision could just make it easier on everyone and give PLUNDER the same SOLO/DUO/TRIO/QUAD that practically EVERY OTHER game mode has!

I honestly don't know why they don't?? I mean, is there a specific reason or is it that they just don't pay attention to PLUNDER..

Well, here we go again. Just got an update today and all of the modern weapons are out. No cash drops. Lots of money though. I just finished a round in 2nd place with $983K and earned 44K XP. Held 1st off and on for quite a bit, but because of the quads, I couldn't get far enough ahead. The bunkers (underground labs, or whatever they are) have cash and 3 to 4 bots. Easy to kill the bots, but no XP for doing that. I've saved the last for best: The jeeps are back!!!! Woohoo!

In a nutshell, yes, back to WWII.

There are bots in the underground bunkers and in the watch towers at the chemical factory. Not sure if they're anywhere else. The make good target practice.

The last two rounds haven't been as lucrative as the first few. A lot of the cache crates don't have any cash in them. The amount of cash seems to vary from round to round (server to server???) Not sure what else they changed, but the game play does seem a bit different.
