Install COD Black Ops 6 on Xbox, some question

I have Xbox Series X, and Ultimate. On the Xbox Store, Black ops 6 cross-gen edition is "free".
But I only want to play the Multiplayer. I don`t need the Campaign and Zombie part off the game.
If I only want to play Multiplayer, Can I just choose to download only The COD app and multiplayer from the Xbox Store?
And all the cross-gen packs, must I choose to downloads those too, or is that not nessesary?

I am a little unsure on this thing...

You can choose to only install the Multiplayer component of Black Ops 6. I think you will first need to install the Call of Duty app, from there press Start -> Manage game and Add-ons. Here you should see not just all the Black Ops 6 components, but components for Warzone, Modern Warfare II & III. Deselect everything you would like to install.

I don't have an Xbox, personally, but I hope this helps!

What`s files/packs do I need to only play Multiplayer on my Series X =)
I have buy the Valut editon beside Black Ops 6 cross gen on Xbox Store. What do I need to install for this Valut thing? =)

Okay, thanks for answere. So I choose to install COD app, And multiplayer only. Not the Content pack 1 or other packs need to be installed?
What about the Valut edition files? What do I need to install here?

I believe with Game Pass Ultimate, you only get the Regular version of Blops6 and not the Vault edition. As a Game Pass subscriber, I believe you get the option to purchase the Vault Edition, which comes with cosmetics..etc.

Unless in that list of components you can install, the Vault edition option is present, I believe it's an additional purchase.

So, yes. Just install Multiplayer. You DO NOT need to install Zombies and/or Campaign. Just focus on Black Ops 6 Multiplayer.

If YOU "bought" Black Ops 6 via Cross-Gen, then that's your version. Make sure its the Xbox Series X version. Cross-Gen is basically a version that includes the Xbox One "game." Vault Edition is just an add-on.

Please take a screenshot of your install screen with BO6.

Yes, its confusing, but the engine itself is all that.

BO6 is actually DLC for MWII from a developer standpoint. The developers are using the MWII engine to run the game.

If you're going to use them, yes.

BubbleGum Pack is related to Zombies for example. That's why I didn't mention it by name.

No you dont need any previous version of Call of Duty PERIOD!!!

Simply install BO6 as Carlos has stated above here and you will be fine. Honestly, you are overthinking this to the max. Worst comes to worse you simply uninstall the game and reinstall it again.

I hope this all works out for you as the game is not perfect but can still be fun to play.

I'm on PS5 and I see the same thing in the Xbox Series X screenshot. The files "required" to run Warzone, so forgive me, guys.

My point still remains, BO6 is MW2019.
