Lag, Freezes, and Crashes make the game unplayable

I bought Cod Cold War almost 2 weeks ago and was able to play it perfectly fine for about a week with the exception of the occasional UI error but other than that no complaints.
Until suddenly about a week ago I launch the game and it takes a long time to load and is very laggy as are the menus and of course most importantly the game.
The game also freezes and sometimes even downright crashes (no error) even closing the game takes forever.
I have no clue what is wrong with it so hoping someone here can help me (hope this is the right place, just created an account)

Some things I have already tried:
None of which changed anything.

• Restarting my pc "duh"
• Lowering settings to the minimum
• Rolling back my driver
• Changing windows game settings
• Changing game priority
• Reinstalling the game (took forever)

Would be amazing if someone can help me figure this out.

Don’t think it’s coming from your end. Though I’m on a PS4 pro. Cold War is very laggy for me also. I get disconnected from games, can’t or takes sometime to connect to a lobby. The list goes on and on. The game itself has so many problems.

and yet it was working perfectly fine, and its not just normal lag its something is wrong kinda lag

You’re not alone in this. I started having latency and lag and packet loss issues around the same time you did for no apparent reason other than I think the update. Packet loss and lag issues have been an ongoing problem since day one and frankly activision could give two shits because they’ve got your money. But that’s just my opinion. I am running the game vanguard on a PS4 Pro on a hardwired DSL with 188.4 MB download and 47.7 MB upload. I cannot even begin to fully put into words the amount of frustration and aggravation and sheer anger this causes.
I have been trying to play games pretty much all morning and afternoon and have yet to have a game with a ping speed lower than 120. And when I do get a game around 109 I end up with constant packet losses which if you’ve played and encountered them at all you know you don’t get credit whenever a packet loss occurs. I am literally stuck because every time I try to accomplish a task a packet loss occurs and I can’t close it out.
In short we be screwed..
The reason?: if activision gave two shits we wouldn’t have a problem.
But again that’s just my opinion……
