Multiplayer lag

I only got blk ops after the holidays. The game played fine until the last 3 days. Now it’s Boarder line unplayable. Is this happening to others?

Ps5. I will kill guys on my screen that I shouldn’t even be hitting and miss guys who look like I’m even getting hit markers on. Very choppy frames regularly. When reloading it will animate multiple times like it’s lagging out because it is. What’s going on in my screen is not what others are seeing also. If I watch the kill came it’s not what I just saw

Have you tried any other games and how they perform? Obvious first step is to hard boot your internet modem/router. Is the harddrive nearly full or are you using an external drive? Are the other people at your place using the internet at the same time causing a demand on the bandwidth?

This is just a starting point to help eliminate the common things.

Yes re booted the router. the ps5 is almost brand new only 2 games on it so not full hard drive. Just got it on Xmas. No one else using internet at that time I was home alone. (Hence I was trying to play) lol

I'm having similar lag issues in Nulls Brawl. If you're lagging in CoD: Black Ops on PS5, try a wired connection, enable QoS, and forward ports. Keep your game and system updated, tweak graphics settings, and pick the right server. Close background apps using bandwidth, and check for server issues. If nothing helps, a tool like GearUP Booster might improve stability.

Power cycling your modem/router can resolve packet loss, latency, or DNS issues.

COD is a awesome game. I played it lots of time and enjoyed it, but if border line is not playable that means there may be some updates need to come in the game and we can wait for it until it comes.

I have had problems since the last update (July), despite having the latest driver the graphics are flat, if I play Warzone my weapon doesn't show for about a minute, if I end up in the gulag it gets stuck on the cut scene, my match starts but I can't see it and get killed. Pressing F does nothing. Play on PC, drive is not full, have done a reinstall, scan and repair, no change. Was fine before, now they've killed it.
