MW reimagined with soldier’s doctrine realism (what if CoD MW's everything is realistic?)

What if CoD Modern Warfare (The OG trilogy) has a realistic gun and health system alongside the tactical side?

There would be real physics, realistic gun & health system, alongside the tactical side. The tactical side consists of Small Unit Tactics (SUT) or called as the RSUT in the Rangers (Ranger Small Unit Tactics), CQB, SERE (Survival, Evasion, Run, Escape, i may get it wrong), marksmanship, and others that is relevant. But it focuses more on the combat side than micromanagement (like handling broken weapons and such) of course as CoD focuses on the guns blazing missions. It would be those 3 games modded. No need for a standalone game.

I'll be the guy making ideas only, if you guys wanna discuss more and actually do this, we can do it here. I wont force you on other platforms.

Oh and by the way.. the lore stays the same. No worries on that one.

Last post on this "bomb run".

The core is: the health system and gun system would be realistic, the tactical side stays intact, whilst characters like Sergeant Foley from MW-2 would be wearing correct gears and equipments based on their unit, and timeline. If you want, on missions too. But no need for that one. Im calling out those people who are wondering if CoD leans on realism instead of the normal version or "hollywood" (not an insult don't worry).

Ah alright. May you eloberate what you mean by the video? (Pardon me, i am ambushed by a busy moment right now). But you noticed something you said.

That's great though.

(read on your own risk, good sir):

I hope I dont put too much gears on you but, the OpFor and other enemy factions already looks credible, just for some more intel. TF141 and SAS for example have those leightweight-gear equipment, like Soap wearing the tactical rig with mags in some instances or any other character. There's also a "historical side", for example the Rangers are called as A company not Hunter Company.

Look. The reason why storylines, stories, and realism is taking a back seat is because Activision is blind. They don't know where to take the franchise.

Right now. At this moment, we're in the middle of a few excursions with Middle East. We just captured the illegitimate president, Maduro.

The reason why realistic guns are not there is because Activision got sued by these dumb, greedy gun manufacturers that don't understand that when we put YOUR guns in the game, we ARE marketing... YOUR GUN.

Marketing > More sales of real-life guns.

THAT'S why we had Advanced Warfare, BO3, Infinite Warfare, because Activision was trying to avoid lawsuits. Black Ops 6, Black Ops 7, etc.

I was actually looking forward to a true blue, direct sequel to Modern Warfare, where we explore more of Middle East.

This is actually something I noticed along with Tdawg.

Alright. I agree too.

I gotta need some guys that are like milsimers, or veterans to uh, partake in this thing. If any of you are there, lurking around the CoD community; then you are welcome here.

What is your definition of "milsim"? Battlefield 6? Arc Raiders? Old CoD (which is CoD4 to BO4), or New CoD (MW2019 to BO7)?

Military Simulation (MILSIM) players, like people that plays other games like Squad, Arma, Operation Harsh Doorstop, etc. Normal players that can participate in direct development, technical stuff, or even anybody that has such expertise in that field. Sorry for confusing you.

Its not confusing for me. But for them. Thing is, Milsim exists in a casual game environment. I consider Battlefield 6 the closest we got to a mainstream shooter with milsim. Escape from Tarkov is another one. Arc Raiders is similar to both Tarkov and maybe Siege. But Rainbow Six Siege is currently going through a similar phase as Call of Duty where hackers are everywhere.

Rainbow Six Siege is similar to CoD4 in both gameplay style, and the closed circuit, arena battles. Hell, the MP5 they had at one point made me go, "Oh! CoD4!" lol

Anyway, most people like milsim. The problem is corporations are blind to facts right now.

Call of Duty could sell more units if it had just focused on the fundamentals. But they aren't. They are focused on doing the very thing Fortnite is doing right now. Battle Pass? Fortnite. Skins everywhere? Fortnite. Crossovers? Fortnite.

"Genative" AI is just a buzzword in gaming at the moment. We've had Ai since Video Games existed, but the generative Ai systems we have now is doing at least 3 things. Your player character is Ai. Game art is Ai. Polygons are Ai. (I mean the map's design is Ai.) Even the Anti-Cheat is Ai. Soooo... yeah.
