DMZ mw3 warzone dmz: setup

Hi,

Really a noob question:
I'm currently playing warzone on pc/steam bur performance is awful.
I'm tempted to buy a ps5 but am not familiar at all with console.
What would I need to plat mw3/warzone/dmz on ps?
Is it free to play as on pc or do I need mw3? Do I need a paying subscription?

Platinuming on PlayStation consoles is similar to Steam, but in order to get the Platinum trophy, you need to get the other trophies. But the thing is, Modern Warfare III doesn't have Platinum trophy. It is basically a DLC, so trophies are normal.

I assume it's a typo you got there? So, I'll address it now as "play." Modern Warfare 3 is $70 everywhere, but at GameStop, if you buy the console, and the disc.. the employee on the other end may be a good guy and cut you a discount.. Warzone is "free to play" so you don't actually need a subscription, but to get online in general, you DO need a PlayStation Plus subscription. If you want baseline "get online" subscription, get the Essential tier. $80

DMZ is a part of Modern Warfare II, and is "discontinued" at this point. So, if you want DMZ, you're gonna need MWII.

In order to play Warzone, you do not need Modern Warfare III. It's a separate "client" but goddamn Activision is treating it as a single "app." (Call of Duty)

To play Warzone, you don't need a subscription, but if you plan to get Modern Warfare III, too and play online... just get PS+ Essential.
