New to these forums.

Been playing WOW for years my oldest Son got me into the CODs and i love them, i would play on his XBOX all the time, since Activision aquired merged or w.e with Blizz ive noticed the MW option, recently started playing Warzone but it didnt scratch the itch, so i went ahead and pulled the trigger upgrading to the full game.

im wondering if there is a way to merge my batlle net account and my sons xbox where my progress is, if not no big deal ill start over.

If you are registered on Call of Duty then you should be able to link your XBox account with your current Call of Duty account. I don't know if this will help you bring your details forward as I never played CoD on my XBox 360 so I don't have data to bring forward, but I think it would be the best place to try first.

Yes, you're right.

Just link your Xbox Live account to Call of Duty accout, and do the same thing with Battle.net
