The tac map is frak'ed.. Doesn't zoom in with Mouse Wheel...

AI seems to be balanced... Not overly bloodthirsty, but not a cake walk either...

Did I mention... NO FRAKIN' PLUNDER!!!

A new Buy Option is a PERSONAL EXFIL... That's pretty kewl.. And you can call it right in the middle of the gas cloud.. Which is VERY nice...

Anxious to check out the REPUTATION aspect.. Haven't looked at that yet...

So, not too bad so far...

A buddy and I were playing today, loaded up the ammo box for our field upgrade and it didnt load for either of us. We have seen this bug before in previous seasons and the work around was to put something else in your field upgrade slot and the ammo box would appear. Sadly this did not work for us. I have even tried restarting the game. As anyone else noticed this behavior?
 
I noticed the same problem.. I have played a couple matches.. I always go in with an ammo box... But both times I did not have it upon deployment..

I was able to buy an ammo box at a BUY station.. But no luck actually deploying with one..

I have also noticed that the Heartbeat Sensor is good for one or two scans, then the battery goes dead.. :(

It's not just AMMO BOXes that are the problem..

Whatever you select/have as your FIELD UPGRADE doesn't deploy with you..

I had a Res Pistol as my FE and it wasn't there when I deployed...

SECURE BACKPACKS

Had a teammate latch onto one of these puppies...

It's a LARGE BACKBACK that will insure anything it carries.. Meaning, you exfil with ALL the times in the Secure Backpack and ALL the items are available to you in your next deployment.. :D
 
I noticed another change...

When this pic was displayed immediately before deployment....

I could hit ESC and get an advance preview of where I would be deploying...

Now it just goes to a black screen.. Bummer...
 
Interesting new twist on the cargo train.. There is a safe on one of the last open platform cars... Once you activate it, you are hit with wave after wave of choppers with a full complement of T3 goons... It also takes a LONG time to get the safe opened..

It would be impossible to take that solo, but I was part of a team of 4 and we were able to fight off the choppers and open the safe..

BATTLE PASS costs $10 more this season...

Not sure about getting it..

Anyone else?? Is it really worth 30 bucks???
 
Season 3 is full of bloatware that nobody needs. I dont care if i look good in my new camo
and pink gun. This game has evolved into a fashion show. i just want the maps.
The game is now 117gb and half of is just crap
 
my map zooms in and out with wheel and i got the blackcell and like it and theres supposed to be areas where you can loot beeter shit then peeps without it which i havn not noticed.
 
New Heavy-Chopper

These choppers have more speed and better resistance to damage, and you can find them on the Al-Mazrah map. However, the cool part about this new aerial vehicle is that you can exit the map and privately exfil with it! You can also buy private exfils from the Buy Stations, but to use the Heavy Chopper, you need to find its special fuel at the Al-Mazrah Airport.

ACTIVE DUTY

A new feature of S03 is you get 3 "Active Duty" operators that you can deck out with plate vests and kill streaks..

And if one guy dies, you can go into the next deployment with another decked out operator..

That's pretty kewl...

And now CRAFTING is a part of COD WARZONE..

Like the Far Cry series, you can collect a series of items and go to the "Workbench" that is adjacent the buy stations and craft special gear with built in perks.. You can craft a 3-plate vest that gives you warning when other operators are near.. etc etc etc...

Dunno how I feel about that.. Seems to me to be overly confusing. Definitely not a thing for the casual gamer...

On the other hand, it definitely gives a player an edge and a sense of purpose to accomplish things in DMZ, as opposed to just tooling around shooting NPCs...
 
I know, right!??

I was with a team that was crafting some shit and we spent like 15 mins in the buy station/workbench area.. We were sitting ducks...

I came across a "Secure Backpack" in the last match.. It has some limitations that I don't think I will like.. Can't carry as much and no xtra weapon slot... So I dumped it..

Overall, it's just too many choices.. And trying to think of what to craft while in the midst of a fire fight???

there is also a vest that works like an av tower you can wear. and you can change it out with another vest thats plated whenever you want. i think its all great and just have to get used to it. and if you have the money you can get your on exfill.

ands there one operator bundle that if you get it , if you go in and dont get out his gun cools down in only 15 minutes

I agree that it does offer a lot of exciting possibilities..

But I picture me trying to decide which vest is the best and then getting my ass shot off while I am pondering.. hehehe

One match I played this morning I was part of a team of six and we took down like 3 different teams that tried to take us out.. There were 3-plt vests strewn all over the street and I kept running around trying to find the best vest.. I musta looked like an idiot!!! :D

I am sure I'll get used to it, but it's so damn confusing at first...
