DMZ Season 5... First Thoughts...

But there isn't really anything different.. One thing that stood out however... I found TWO GPUs just lying around..

seems to be a lot more loot boxes around. It was also full of idiots early on. I mean, if you shoot at a player and do not see a blue or purple hit marker, that means they only have a single plate vest. Despite the fact that you can kill them easier, the fact that they only have a single plate vest also means that they a. have only just spawned in and b. won't have anything worth looting, so leave them be until they have a three plate. Just sayin' but there are people out there camping spawn points

Interesting note.. Wonder if SCUBA Masks can double as Gas Masks...

i have picked up a few new items. im wondering how long scuba mask will let you stay under and i rode motorcycle up a mountain just jump off it and it was great and you can do tricks on it just have to figure out how.

Yea, I saw a player do a flip.. It freaked me out..

They also have a new armored vehicle.. Heavily armored and has 2 turrets, front and back, like a patrol boat..

It requires a special key I have yet to find..

From what I understand those vehicles are basically zone wipers and a 6 man squad with one of those can drive around and wipe out every other team in the zone.

when you say zone is it restricted to an area or can drive all over map and is it gas or do you need certain fuel like heavy chopper

When I say zone I mean that particular game instance.

Like anywhere on the map that monster of a vehicle will drive

Hell you don't even need a 6-man squad.. A TRIO could man it and kill every team out there..

You can drive all over the map and you can fill up at any station and use regular gas cans..

As a side note, you only need Heavy Chopper fuel to get the bird airborne...

Once you're airborne you can fill up at any gas station... But filling up is slower than mole's asses in January...

Today we have two players who clearly know where all the other players are, killing you, then reviving you 3 times before moving off to the next players. Is that a mission or just cheating arseholes?

So Season 5 had no reboot on missions which was nice. But now it seems its near impossible to accomplish nearly ANY missions without getting into PVP.

I sincerely hope they nerf the grenade launcher off the MRAP. and also if they would lower the teams in zone by 1/3rd that would be great

In addition the war zone teams. It would be awesome if they somehow made the Shadow company folks A heck of a lot more obvious as different from the AQ and other folks I mean we get shot we turn and start shooting and whoops that was a SC not an AQ..

then we are fubar against SC

It was VERY cool walking into Vondel and being able to run by AI that was not killing me
I had not learned that in Maz..

you still have to be careful because when ai kill all konni they will start to shoot you.
