Greetings, Devil Dog! Welcome to the Call of Duty Forums. It looks like you're looking forward to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, but haven't created an account yet. Why not take a minute to Okay Ive been playing modern warfare 2 completely legit no hacks nothing and Ive been shadow banned twice already now the reason why shadow bans are completely stupid is because they serve 0 purpose because the system is completely unreliable or properly functional considering talking to a bunch of other shadow banned players they have the same issue because you play too good people think that you are hacking they report you, and you get false banned and see the stupid thing about shadow bans is that you cannot appeal them because there is no where on the support page for you to actually appeal it even if you were false banned because the truth is hackers are most likely playing on HWID Spoofers while cheating so they can just get new accounts and use them to play and cheat. So realistically the cheaters are getting free and the legit players, playing on there own HWID's are getting shadow banned for 0 reason because of the assumption that there cheating because of the amount of reports, because I really dont think im going to be playing much of Modern Warfare 2 this season because I physically cannot play it while being shadow banned they only last about two weeks sure but think about that, thats a really really long time for some people to wait. The point im trying to make is make a better anti cheat that doesnt just assume but verify that players are not actually cheating and that they are legit and playing normally so that it prevents players from getting shadow banned and actually solves the hacker problem, there are so many other games that have actual people reviewing bans and seeing if people are legit or hacking. Somehow Activision cannot simply do that with forming their own anticheat Ricochet it does no such thing but ban innocent players for 0 reason I cannot find a game because it puts me onto european servers or american servers which are shadow banned lobbies there are so many other people like me who get shadow banned for 0 reason for just being too good at the game. This is actually a serious problem and is going to be call of duty's downfall.
