heheheh Trying to find the old RF hookups to hook it to a TV..

Personally, I never messed with the TRS when I was young.. I was COMMODORE all the way..

First the Vic20, then the C-64 and then on to the AMIGA 1000, 500 and 3000..

I actually ran a BBS off of an AMIGA 3000 running NETBSD linux.. It was the first BBS in my town to have internet access..

A 14.4K Frame Relay was my backbone.... :D

Does your wife know you're looking for hookups?

I was a Commodore kid, Vic 20, C-64, Amiga 2000 and a CD-32 were amongst my favourite gadgets growing up.

I was never allowed to use online channels as parents needed to keep the phone line open at all times. I'm so glad we have broadband now, younger people have no idea about how it used to be back in the day.

Oh sure.. We had one rule.. She had to be there... :D But we probably shouldn't get into that, eh? :D

Yea, I had dedicated lines installed for the BBS .. 24 of them to be exact..

It was kinda a local AOL before AOL was AOL.. :D

I know, right!? I am constantly amazed how easy things were compared to when you and I were young...

I mean, if I want to know something now I just type it into the computer and have an answer in seconds.. Before we had to go to the LIBRARY and look things up in REAL books with NO search function..

Paying bills these days is AMAZING to me.. Before, had to write a check, get a stamp and mail it off.. If you were a procrastinator like I was, you had to flail around for a pay station that you had to actually drive to and pay the bill cuz you waited too long.. :D

Young people these days don't realize how good they have got things in the here and now.. :D
