Undetectable By Proximity Mines.. Perk Or Cheat??

Had a player who was able to walk right by my Bouncing Bettys... Never tripped them at all.. I looked in the perks but didn't see anything that specifically addressed BBs...

Was that a cheat???

Ghost and ninja are a must , I run flack jacket and tactical mask on perk one to counter mines and gas
