Unjustly permanent banned

I was banned from Activision, I have no idea how they came to this conclusion, I am a person who has recently turned 50 years old and being accused of cheating in a video game I find it humiliating (I think I am the user who reported most cheaters of all) After I spent money to buy a game , buy codpoint
it was my only leisure in this period of Covid-19 I enjoyed playing with friends even if the community is toxic to die for.
if you want you can check my computer (indeed all my computers) but you will not find anything because there has never been anything.
I made the appeal and after 3 hours you tell me that I am a cheater (which I hate)
Excuse me, but with a KD of 1.2, how could I be a cheater?
Dear Activision if you ban random people simply prove that you care nothing about your customers. I don't think the problem is that I use win 11 and rog first 6 to have a better connection, but in my case you got it wrong.

I'm sorry to read that you were banned, I hope you can get your issues resolved.

However, this is not an official Activision support channel, you will need to find a way to reach Activision directly. I think Twitter is usually the best place to get them to offer you support as posts there are very public.

Don't post any actual personal or account details on Twitter. Just post to say you've been incorrectly banned and someone will reach out to you with a way to get in touch with them.

My Call Of Duty MW was bought nearly three months with full price, i have been ban for no reason, i was do nothing about the hack or aimbot, I just normal playing my game up my lvl. First of all, apologies for reviving an old thread....

Simply-Max, did you ever get in contact with anyone to resolve the issue?

Your situation is very much the same as mine that I have encountered this week!

Like yourself I'm coming up to 51 years old, used to look after our anti cheat in the old rainbow six series of games as well as others that used Punkbuster & Punksbusted.

I'm not a big gamer, though do have a particular passion for playing gunfight tournaments in Black Ops. Win or lose I couldn't careless. Like yourself the stats are probably similar, nothing to shout about.

I'm a PC gamer and don't cheat regardless of what ever game it is and never will, too old for all that shite, and have nothing to prove. I do use a true 7.1 sound setup, which does help with locating the enemy but it don't help with my aim, especially when I like to play and chill with a few beers.
The only other things my pc is used for is amateur radio and photography.

My last tournament was on 11/1/23
Won first round with a 5.50 K/D ratio, 11 kills (console players ran everywhere)
Won 1/4 final round with a 7.00 K/D ratio, 7 kills (opponent was on his own if I remember)
Won semi final round with a 1.67 K/D ratio, 10 kills
Lost the final with a 0.29 K/D ratio and 2 kills

I've been banned ever since. I have appealed the ban but their response was that I was using unauthorized software and manipulation of game data and their decision is final, no proof, no explanation of what files or software, nada. The icing on the cake was "In case you are currently playing any other Activision titles and for future reference, please avoid any of these types of violations to keep your account in good standing" If I have no clue what I have done, how the f@~k can I avoid a violation in another game?

I seriously suspect the reporting system or whatever anti cheat is being used is seriously flawed.

Ok, but have you tried to contact Activision? Lamenting about the injustice is fine but have you actually done anything to try to rectify this? Im not trying to be a dick with my comments.

• Glitching - exploiting in-game code. An example might be using a hole in the map to intentionally leave the map boundary
• Griefing - deliberately preventing someone else from playing the game as intended, for example, deliberate friendly fire
• Offensive behaviour
• Improperly obtained DLC
• Decompiling or reverse-engineering game data
• You can possibly get banned in Warzone for using VPN.

Nah not being a dick with your comment. The problem is to actually being able to contact someone, twitter you can't message support, only reply to their tweets, Facebook group is basically the same. All you get if you reply to something is a load of spam from scammers asking to contact such and such on Instagram. Seriously did I come down in the last rain shower? The Activision support site is useless.

The only thing you can do is to use their ban appeal page. Twitter, facebook, asking for devine intervention etc is not going to do anything except, as you mentioned, get spammed upon.

The ban appeal once submitted is never going to be replied to until they have investigated your version, your testimony so to speak. Most likely the best way is to simply tell the truth calmly and without embellishment. I would hazard a guess that they really do mean it when they say that the ban appeal page is really the only avenue to even hope for a second chance.

I wish you luck, I have no affiliation with Activision the same as everyone else on this site so I do hope that you follow through for your day in court with them. I too am not a child. 64 years old so if it happen to me I would swallow my anger and try to get it over turned in the only option available

In regards to the ban appeal, if I have no idea why I have been banned, then what can I ask? I asked why I have been banned and for proof. It seems you get a standard response and it's closed and you're not able to reply or continue with the process.

I understand this forum isn't associated with any Activision support, just need to vent my anger in some way.

My theory on the way I play in gunfight tournaments...... I'm happy to lose a few rounds while I suss the opponent's out, I'm happy but frustrated to lose but it's a learning process, figure out why I lose and correct it. I always drink a few beers, helps me relax, it's the only time I drink and don't always help lol.

I guess having decent sound and opposition running around the map was my downfall.

Hope no one else has to go through the ban appeal process.
