Thread: Why MW2 and MW3 Weapons Should Be in Black Ops 6 Multiplayer

Post 1:
Let’s talk about something that’s been on my mind lately:
Why aren’t MW2 and MW3 weapons available in Black Ops 6 multiplayer, when they’re already in Warzone?

It feels like we’re missing out on an awesome opportunity to make BO6 even better. Let me break down why I think they should be added.

Post 2:
Weapon Variety = Better Experience
Right now, BO6 multiplayer is limited to its own weapons — which is fine for a while, but let’s be honest, it can feel restrictive.

Bringing in MW2/MW3 guns would open up the sandbox, let players try different playstyles, and make every match feel fresh and exciting.

More options = more fun. Period.

Post 3:
Camos, Progression, and Player Motivation
Many players spent months grinding MW2/MW3 camos — Orion, Interstellar, Mastery, you name it. But now, those weapons are locked out of BO6 multiplayer, so all that hard work feels kind of wasted in the MP side of things.

By adding MW2/MW3 weapons into BO6 MP, players could continue their progression, show off their hard-earned camos, and keep chasing mastery challenges.

That’s what keeps us grinding. Let us use what we earned!

Post 4:
Consistency Across Modes (Warzone & MP)
Let’s be real: Warzone already lets us use MW2, MW3, AND BO6 weapons together. It’s a seamless experience.

So why is multiplayer the odd one out?
Keeping MP and Warzone separate like this just feels inconsistent.

If Warzone can handle multiple titles’ weapons, so can multiplayer.

Post 5:
This Isn’t About Balance, It’s About Variety
Of course, some balancing tweaks might be needed, but that’s part of the fun. More weapons mean more meta shifts, more playstyles, more creativity.

Imagine BO6 MP with a mix of BO6, MW2, and MW3 guns — it would feel alive and evolving, not static.

Post 6:
️ Community Engagement & Player Retention
Adding MW2/MW3 weapons would give players a reason to keep playing BO6, chasing new camos, and experimenting with different setups.

It’s a simple way to keep the game exciting long after launch. We’re not asking for a complete overhaul — just the option to bring over weapons we’ve already invested in.

Final Thoughts
Treyarch & CoD team — we love Black Ops, and we want it to thrive. Adding MW2 and MW3 weapons into BO6 MP and zombies is a win-win for players and the game.

More variety, more progression, more fun. Let’s make it happen.

What do you all think? Would you like to see MW2/MW3 guns in BO6 MP too? Let’s get this conversation going! #BlackOps6 #CallOfDuty #MW2 #MW3
