Why is leveling guns so stupid.

Why have you made it so impossible to get guns and attachments for them. I'm late getting the game so i'm behind them curve. And now its going to take weeks to get a set up I prefer to use. Level up this gun (which sucks) to get this gun. Then level this gun (which also sucks) to get another gun. Then level this gun (which you guessed it, sucks) just to get 1 attachment for the gun you want to begin with. Now repeat this 4 more time to fully out fit it only to realize one of the attachments sucks and needs to be changed. Well repeat that whole crap festival again. I've been a fan of the series for a long time. But if this is going to be the new normal is will go play Fortnight. All I can figure its it's about money in micro transactions. Make it super difficult to get it done and the drones will spend $25 a pop to just blueprint the guns they want and you make millions.

Coming to the game late does not mean you should get benefits others didnt have. That being said, you can earn XP bonus's by completing missions. This speeds up the XP gains. Shipment is about the fastest way to level your weapons. Especially on XP bonus weekends. I usually do shipment and can complete a weapon in about 5-6 games with XP bonus.

^ what he said

if it is not a double exp bonus weekend use weapon level exp bonuses and use shipment

I leveled all my shotguns there in like 6 hours of play on a weekend of double exp.

Granted yes that was an easy gun type to level there but hey thats how it is.

If you do not mind loosing guns to have to wait to reload them DMZ can be a nice place to level sniper weapons killing AI over and over and over .. just the PVP you bring onto you can cause a little pause as you are missing a gun now.

What I did was go to al maz and level my snipers solo there if I got wiped out I would head to shipment and level that gun there until I could load back into Al Mazrah.

Not about wanting a boost when being late. Its a complaint about a clearly flawed system. The grind is worse than any I have ever seen. Most MMORPG are easier to aquire what you want. And they are famous for endless grinds. This doesn't enhance the player experience.

Last night, I played Shipment. I was grinding the new shot gun. Everyone was one shotting me with their shotguns. Mine..... 3-5 shots.

It is frustrating, but their guns were leveled, tuned and performing at meta. I did use some XP boosts and now mine it leveled, tuned and performing at meta.

Took me 8 games.....

In battlefield, it took WAAAAYYYYYY more then 8 games to grind a weapon. I don't want to be argumentative, but I don't consider that a grind.

I will acknowledge, the experience of "Grind" is a perceptive value measured differently for people.

But what about a weapon that is built from another weapon. And the attachments are all unlocked by other different weapons. Some of which requires building them from parts from different weapons. And aren't suited to doing shipment grind liked the shotgun example people keep mentioning.

That 8 games to do 1 to get number 2 thats 8. Then lvl 2 that's now16. But the attachments are on different weapons that 5 more for total of 56. But 3 of those were to get other guns that each take 8 more to get the attachments that's 80. Now that's only if it goes as fast as your shotguns and double XP. So that's probably 20 more easy making it a 100. For players who can only get a couple hours at a time and not every day you are talking a month plus to get one decent weapon.

Leveling guns an gaining attachments and ammo and etc. is just one more way for the game to increase your time input into a gained "beast mode"

Think about it. Someone BRAND new to a weapon system is going to have a more difficult time than someone who is trained and has massive amounts of experience with it.

Can you out shoot Jerry Miculek. Probably not. I know I sure as hell could not but there in lies part of what the game has bestowed you.

An experience gain in how a weapons system will work for you. The more you use it the better you will be with it.
