Why MW3 upsets me

I’m sure this topic has already been discussed, but I’m ready to share my thoughts on MW3 after using it since its release.

Covert sneakers spoils MW3 for me. I hope it’s removed from future iterations of the game.

I realize CoD has to set itself apart from other games in this genre, and it has accomplished that, however, I really believe it doesn’t need to have mechanics that allow players to move at lightening speeds. This is supposed to be a military game at its roots. I want to fight an old fashioned Rambo not a meta human.

Another thing I don’t care for is the bunny hopping. It’s abused, and spoils the game for me. Of course, just like you, I’ve learned to deal with it. All the things I’ve mentioned thus far I can deal with. I just don’t think they should be in the game.

Anyway, despite those things, I’ve enjoyed MW3. Years ago, I started with the first Black Ops then switched to Battlefield 3. The dumpster fire that is BF 2042, forced me to look at CoD again, and MW3 is a home run of a game. I’ve had some epic matches. The skill level of players is incredible, and the game is never short on funny moments.

Thanks for making such an enjoyable game.

exactly right, a couple of other things that I don't like are younger players that play team deathmatch but cant play like like a team player, teammates that will sacrifice a teammate to get a melee kill, the "DEI" hit detection and health algorithm, and the convoluted scoring system (only in this game can you place higher in a match with a negative score than a player with a positive score)
