Xbox 360 Version-Why No Vibration?

I have downloaded the Xbox 360 port known as Call of Duty Classic (eagerly awaiting it becoming part of the Xbox One backwards compatibility), and I enjoy it very much. That said, I have always wondered why, when the game was ported, a vibration option was not included. This was done to some extent for Far Cry Classic.

If I'm right the developers forgot to and didn't end up doing it afterwards because there wasn't enough request from players wanting it.
