    Why can't the devs code the defender shield properly?

    Number of times that I have been screwed over by my own shield feels like triple digits. "Can't place that here", followed by a 2 second cooldown on the ability. Slight variations in the ground, hillls, rocks can make it unusable. Lazy coding or are they just that bad?
