TR-76 GEIST challenge bug?

Hey i started few days ago mw3 and im unlock weapons and i realized that challenge for TR 76 dosent work i got like 50 kills prone with assault rifle and 0 points complere on challenge..... any one elae have the issue?

It's a MW2 gun with a MW2 challenge.

So i cant unlock it?

Ah hell, I thought you meant it was a camo challenge for the gun, in the same way as you can't unlock the Orion camo for the MW2 guns in MW3.

Nooo i cant unlock the gun at all the challenge just doesn't work i think

I got it from the battlepass in MW2 so I didn't have to do that challenge.

I suspect it isn't working for the reason I stated above though. It wouldn't surprise me at all if you need to go on MW2 to unlock it, wherefore it'll carry over to MW3 for you.

I will check it later cuz they did update today so i will see if it works now
