What is this game meant to be because PVP FPS is not it

I am new to Modern Warfare 2 and what is now 3. I used to play the series back during the good days but quit at the MW phase. Been playing Destiny 2 for the past 9 years but that is now useless. My issue with this game is simple, where is the PVP? Yes I know technically where it is but how is this called PVP when everything is so broken a sniper rifle with a telescope for a scope can out draw and shoot an SMG? There is nothing skill based about that whatsoever. Also when you watch the replays in killcam an elbow is a one shot kill? How is feasibly possible for a control to out gun a KB/M? In D2 they attempted to mix console and pc and it was a disaster, PC would kill way before they could get on target.

Also it seems 90-95% of the match is shooting people in the back or using helicopters etc vs. actually have a gunfight. In my opinion, again my opinion, this is the least skill based game I have ever seen in 40 years of gaming. Oh but people use broken crap you say? True but that doesn't mean they have skill. Just no tactics to this game nor much if any skill needed. Just need to get a few kills and then kill everyone with a helicopter or bomber or whatever. TTK is far to fast, you cant even get a chance to react and I know that is the trigger point for most players. No one wants a slower TTK why? Well its easier of course.

Not trying to shit on nobody but when you get player after player talking shit about skill because they shot you in the back with a one-shot weapon and didnt have to aim is laughable at its best and stupid at its worse. Not really sure why anyone would want to play this game considering its more detrimental to skill development then playing god mode solitaire.

I don't think you understand why SBMM is hated. But, you accidentally prove why. MWIII is not available unless you have Single Player campaign.

Let's start from the beginning. SBMM in Modern Warfare 2019 was the least. It was not as egregious or as obvious as it is now with Modern Warfare II (2022). If there was SBMM in MW2019, then, it was in the gameplay. Sometimes you'd come across stupid... really stupid gunplay. Like a guy with a weak pistol and kills you in 2 shots. Even in MWIII's beta, I recognized some BS shooting. Like in Rust. I shot with a Renetti, he died in two shots on my bullet. He was probably pissed. That's not my fault brah. Blame SBMM.

Modern Warfare II turned SBMM pretty hard.
Modern Warfare III's beta was even worse, but you can get some nice games on it, that said.

EDIT: To be clear, first week Modern Warfare III's SBMM was lax. Second week? Psh. You thought MWII (2022) was bad? Forget it.
