These are the BEFORE/AFTER x-rays of my chest..

Those metal plates on my right side of the left X-Ray were holding my ribs together.. But the screws had been screwed into the cartilage so they had broken loose. So I had 32 screws loose.. :D Which explains a lot.. hehehehe

The plan was to go in and replace the plates and screw them into the bone of my sternum to the bone of my ribs.. Bone 2 bone. More secure. But when the doctor got in there, he found that the ribs had actually mended pretty decently, to the point where I didn't need the plates..

So, we're going with a LESS IS MORE kinda plan and hope that it works out.. :D

I should be back up and around in a couple weeks... So that means I have 2 weeks of nothing but COD Game play!! hehehehe As you can probably tell, they gave me some really great pain killers..

Thanx.. Yea, this one was a cake walk compared to my first one..

Went in on the day before Thanksgiving 2019 for a routine angioplasty, just to check for blockage. Found a blockage in a junction of my aorta that likely would have killed me in the next month.. We had 10 mins to decide if we wanted a triple bypass NOW or stay in the hospital for two weeks until the surgeon became available again.

We opted for NOW. A simple 1-hour angioplasty on an out-patient basis turned into a grueling 7-hour triple by-pass and a 10-day ICU stay... Those leads you see with the green caps in my belly??? They actually led to electrical leads attached directly to my heart.. When they pulled those out?? HOLY CRAP it felt weird.. :D

And here we are. :D Yea, it's all behind me now.. :D

Life is good...
