Offline - not joinable

I play via Battle.net and every time I check my social status it says Offline and not Joinable. Is the anyway I can change this staus. I've gone as far completely reinstalling windows in case I have forgotten to change a setting but the problem remains. Any help or advise wold be appreciated

Battle.net, just click on your username and you can change your online to offline or away and so on.

Or you are talking about in game?

Try opening up http://www.battle.net with a web browser and login that way..

Then run MW 2 game from the desktop or file manager icon..

After reading more on the subject, I don't think there is a fix for it right now.

Unfortunately it appears it always defaults back to launcher. Even after I uninstalled launcher.

Looks like its gonna be a case of witing for next patch or update

People are using Channels to get around it.
