asus rog b550 f

ryzen 7 5800x3d

evga rtx 3090 ftw 3 ultra

was running four 8 gig sticks of gskill trident neo rgb 3600 and now i switched to same ram but two 16 gig sticks. doesnt matter which i use every so often my display goes out and dram light on motherboard is on and i have to restart. does,nt do it all the time. any help and since it has done it with 4 or 2 sticks of ram i dont think it is the ram. any help

I know all I need is a intel d d r four motherboard and a intel processor will an I seven work

The rum might help but won't do anything for your PC.

I suspect the issues might be related to a mismatch between the RAM speed and the Infinity Fabric speed when you're running the RAM at 3600, your Infinity Fabric speed should be 1800.

Try clearing CMOS and see if your PC runs without issue for a few days with the RAM running at default speeds. If it does, try setting the RAM speed using an XMP profile but check the the RAM is at 3600 and the IF is at 1800.

my 5800x3d laughs at intel

5800x3d says it supports 3200 mhz ram so i back mine up to 3200 and we will see,maybe it desnt like 3600 but it doesn,t happen all the time.i would think it should not have a problem running 3600 the 5600x didnt.

i had it right in bios, its at 3200 and flck at 1600 so ill let it ride and see what it does.
