Xbox Live Installing Black Ops II

Hey there CODForums.

I have recently installed my Black Ops II disc to my Xbox 360 HDD successfully. When booting the game/starting from the dashboard the game gets up to the 'Dolby' part, finishes that and loads up the next sequence but half way through it, it just goes to a blank screen but my Xbox 360 is still functioning because I am able to use the guide button. Five minutes later the disc stops spinning and it still does not do anything. What should I do? Uninstall the game? Ideas/Suggestions or help, please!​

The same thing happened to me when I was getting the first copy. You might just need a new copy from the store.

Uninstall the game, why are you trying to install it any way. Doesn't really help much.

It's supposed to. It reduces the amount of "listen" communication between the disc, and the game itself.

The problem is, when you play a game on a disc, the console communicates information back and forth all the time. To reduce this, it's better to install it so that it's readable faster.

A lot of people complain about the constant loading screens, what they don't understand is that the disc is being read constantly, so it looks for the textures, it looks for the player info, it looks for when was the last time you played, so it takes off from there, it looks for this and that, this puts a strain on the console, which in turn causes these PS3's freezing.

I know you guys are on Xbox 360, but that isn't my point. The point is to ease loading times, and how often the console communicates.
