DMZ Acquired M13B Assault Rifle.. How Do I Keep It???

I... ahem... magically acquired the M13B Assault Rifle..

How do I retain it so I don't lose it the next time I am killed??

Either don't use it or place it in the insured slot.

It's my understanding that, after death, the insured spot ain't so insured..

Regardless, it looks like the special weapons you get in game do survive in your inventory...

Now if I could just figure out how to hold onto the extended plate body armor and a bigger back-pack after dying, I might actually enjoy DMZ..

How the hell can ya retain the items after you die!?? Is it a question of completing missions??

Sure would be nice if Activision would actually DOCUMENT this stuff.. :eyeroll:

Any gun that is in your insured slot will be there after death, but on cooldown for 2hrs.

Welp, I lost the M13B.. I had it in my backpack when I was killed and now it's gone..

DMZ well and truly sucks purple panther piss...
