Apply Blueprint Glitch

Quick question. Twice now, playing Outbreak, after acquiring a 2nd weapon and applying custom blueprint, instead of having two weapons, I'll now have three. I'll have the pick-up #2, now modded, but I'll also have a third, vanilla of the same weapon. Worse still, the next time I upgrade primary loadout weapon, the second and third glitch out. They fall as parts to the ground, which are unable to be picked up. I also am locked out from acquiring any 2nd or 3rd weapon from this point on, basically rendering the run a waste.

Anyone know about this, what can be done, if anything? Thanks!
