In MW3, they introduced Strike Packages which allowed players to choose point streaks best suited to their play style, whether it be killing as many people as possible, playing the objective, or playing solo, the strike packages catered to almost everyone.

But problems arose as people started to abuse the strike packages, one in particular (Support). Infinity Ward thought that if they included this strike package it would help the objective players who risk their lives by jumping on flags e.t.c as they wouldn't lose their streak if they died trying to to cap an objective. It would also help the players who are just starting to play Call of Duty...

Then, average players and even GOOD players started to use it as it made it easier for them to get Killstreaks such as Advanced UAV, Stealth Bomber and EMP (which all BELONG in the Assault strike package). This was all a big mistake...

Now here's my idea for strike packages in "Black Ops 2"

Have all 3 strike packages in the game, but change them slightly.

Assault: pretty simple, just add, remove or swap out Killstreaks to suit "Black Ops 2"'s style of play.

Specialist: also simple, just add the "Black Ops 2" Killstreaks instead of MW3 ones.

Now, Support (or if it was up to me: Objective)
Well here's my idea.
If you equip the "Objective" strike package you get NON LETHAL, objective-type pointstreaks and they DON'T reset when you die.

BUT...
The ONLY way you can earn them is by playing the objective.
So, capping flags and planting bombs etc.
If you get kills, you still get xp, they just don't build up your streak.

If this idea of mine is put into the next Call of Duty:

Objective Players will be rewarded for all of their hard work.
No-one will be able to get easy Killstreaks (eg. Attack dogs for 16 kills but it doesn't reset if you die)

I think "BO2" should still have some aspects of MW3, for example, if you cap an objective, no matter what Strike Package you're using, you will get a point towards your next killstreak

On a side note: Activision, Scrap Call of Duty Elite!!! I have it and not being able to play with everyone for months SUCKS!!! I liked the way Black Ops released their map packs. Every so often, but lots of them!!!

I think the only way you should be able to keep your support streak is if you cap or defend something and if you don't during that one life it gets reset .And they should get rid of stealth bomber in that package seeing as how its not a support killstreak.But advanced uav should stay and seeing as how it is a treyarch game EMP probably wont be in it cause I dont think they used emps in the WWII era.Oh and one last thing COD elite isn't going away which isnt horrible I bought the hardened Ed. for 79.99 on Ebay and I get all the maps early and free

Ok while some of them are good ideas there is just 2 problems. black ops is black ops, while mw3 is mw3. completely different, different producers, different era. If they incorperate stuff from mw3 then it just isnt BO. which would make it repeatative and lame. I mean i agree support killstreaks should have hardcore assult items in there, but with your idea if you have a bad round of snd from example and you dont get any where near the bomb sites because you get killed very quickly then you would lose everything, which would be very unfair. So i reckon you should keep it how it is in some ways because why have support if it going to be no use at all. I mean if they were gonna do that then they should just scrap it completely. So really without support there would be no variety meaning players that cant be individuals, making the game bland and less interesting.

I suppose your right, I didn't really think about S&D

Well, a Spy Plane could prove just as useful in a game of S&D as a Napalm Strike and Spy Planes could be a 5 point streak in support which would help you find enemies on the map or survive.. A napalm strike may miss.. So support could be useful without lethal Killstreaks too...

And nothing's worse than a round of search when your team is destroyed by say a stealth bomber that was easily earned..

Wasn't a big fan of BLOPs, but looking forward to the new system, well looking forward to a new game actually. i I think that some of the killstreaks are in the wrong order and will be over used. It will be interesting to see what will count as a step up the killstreak ladder. MW3 already a killstreak reward for planting/defusing bombs and picking up or capturing flags so it will have to be something different like maybe collaterals or multi kills. Whatever system they set up or change to try and mix thing sup a bit will still get criticised and if it it that bad then they can always patch things. More interested in the elite clan thing and what rewards you will get from leveling up the clan.
