Community Game Modes: MW3

If you have been on MW3 recently you will probably have noticed the new category: Community Game Modes.

Standard Playlists
Alternative Playlists
COMMUNITY PLAYLISTS

this section contains a game mode called Drop Zone

You may comment below if you like this game mode (personally, I don't like it)

But what I'm really here to discuss is IF the private match game modes such as:

Juggernaut
Team Juggernaut
Gun Game
One in the Chamber
Infected

will be added to the category/playlist: Community Playlists

I really enjoy infected and gun game and hope that my thought will become a reality

But what do you think?

Comment below stating whether or not you think we should be able to play these game modes online and gain xp for them (I would rather have it so you just play these game modes for fun and gain no reward from them eg xp)

If you don't own mw3 yet and are just reading this for info, think of these as wager matches in Black Ops if you owned that game except in Blops you earned cod points. If it does happen, I think there will no or minor rewards for playing these game modes.

But then again, if drop zone earns you xp, these should too

I look forward to hearing your views on this idea

I think its a more frustrating and campy version of HQ

I think that infected is more or less a camp fest. I understand the concept, but camping happens especially in Downturn.

I was going to use this video for an article, but CODElite is kind-of buggy. It cuts off the first 5 seconds of the vid.

i know but i dont play on downturn beacause like in the vid everyone camps to get moabs... but even though its campy in my opinion its more fun than drop zone

i also love those game modes but TEAM JUGGERNAUT can be quite frustrating as a lot of the time no one seems to support their teams' juggernaut...

Theyd still be cool online though

Yeah I would love a 3rd person playlist too... But not in the community playlist.

If a 3rd person playlist was going to be introduce it would file into the Standard Game Modes

That being said though if you have a Call of Duty Elite account you can check the Season of Content Calendar and on it it tells you when the maps, spec ops missions and CLASSIFIED content are being dropped to Elite premium members on their console/pc.

The classified content could contain game modes and maybe even new weapons...
If it does contain game mode this idea of ours could certainly be a possibility

They will obviously be dropping more game modes to it. idk if jug or team jug is really entertaining enough. Gun Game should def make the list imo, as well as infected.

Infected has made the list...

I just want one in the chamber and gun game.

Not 2 bothered about jug or team jug...

Gun Game was supposed to be in MW3, at the very least, it was a rumor.

So, the DLC game mode you were talking about may be gun game. Infected was a popular user-created mode, but IW/SG added it to the overall community playlist. So, anything can happen.

I'm guessing most of the custom game modes for dedicated + private servers (at least the more popular ones) will be put into the "community" playlist. Cuz it'll be due to the high number of members within the community who play them that makes them decide. At least, thats the way it should be :].

The collective Call of Duty has to go to the official Call of Duty forums at www.callofduty.com to make their voices heard.

everything that elite premium members get, everyone else will get at a later date.

eg. there has been 3 pieces of dlc for xbox elite so far... next month xbox elite will have had 6 pieces and a month later all 6 pieces will be put into a dlc pack 4 xbox non elite members...

(same 4 ps3, just later than xbox)
