Greetings, Devil Dog! Welcome to the Call of Duty Forums. It looks like you're looking forward to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, but haven't created an account yet. Why not take a minute to 5 days ago I had zero problems playing the game. I did not notice if there was a patch since then, unfortunately. My computer is a bit outdated. 16 GB RAM, 2070ti, rig is at least 5 years old. Anyway, I play/update/load cod mw2 through steam and it's crashing on the loading screen. Sometimes it loads about 50%, 80%, and twice it didn't even load at all. I've tried safe mode, yet got the same outcome (crashed). Yes, I updated my drivers. I can't even get to the main menu.
A few months ago I had this exact same problem. Once the next "patch" came out, it worked fine as if there were no problems at all. I can play rocket league, halo, and other games just fine. I did the scan and repair option, but it didn't help. Am I the only one having this problem?
Any help/tips is appreciated.
