Devmap Health Amount command

Hey there guys

To ensure everyone, YES i've searched hard through all the topics about my problem, including "ALL CONSOLE COMMANDS" and no, i haven't found what i wanted yet.

I wanna ask, if there is any possibility to change the amount of Health of a player

My idea is to make Crysis like server with those options:
g_speed 300
jump_height 300
player_sprinttime 12.8

so the gameplay can be similar to crysis, you know all the super speed stuff and jumping and so on

And the only problem for now is health amount,
Normal health amount makes all the jumps deadly, turning god or demigod causes that you cant kill anyone

So i wanna know if there is any way to change health amount, so it would take much more shoots to kill an enemy and noone will die of a single jump.

When normal health is 100 id like to change it to 500 or even 1000, any ideas?

I'm sorry, but you're confusing Call of Duty with a futuristic FPS title.

COD is a realistic FPS title, not a futuristic one like Crysis.

However, to get this "working" you would need to know how to hack COD, and really know how to do server-side commands for COD.

Just for future reference, I do not condone, endorse, or allow hack threads.

Ok but why do you denounce a modding-like idea? There are zombie mods and stuff, so why cant i add one little server config modification to it? whats the problem? Im not asking you how to cheat or make mod or something, im just asking if there is a command to change amount of health. There are dozens of server with modified values of walking speed, jump height and stuff. I know COD is realistic game but its a GAME, why do not add some fun to it between those hardcore matches. Wanna know what is realistic? sign up to army and be a real soldier. Do not discourage game modding ideas just cuz u think some thing is too realistic to change -_-

i said crysis-like i didnt say that i wanna make crysis server... Maybe i confused with a post for a bit but my only goal is the command to change amount of life in CoD4 server.

You do realize those are hacked servers, right?

I do not discourage game modding because of its to realistic to change. I discourage it because it is a cause of hacks. Cause and effect goes like this: Modding > Hacking > Cheating.

The modding community is very niche, but 14yr olds ruin the fun by cheating, and to cheat, you would need to hack the game from the inside out. These kids ruined MW2, and then it infected COD4. I love COD4, and I am sure many, many others have.

These kids hacking the game ruined the Call of Duty modding community. All of these "jump high," "more ammo," and in your case, "more life" are seen as cheats because of the rampant hacking.

Seriously you are overreacting

Cheating is when you join a public server and use hacks that give you wallhack, aimbot and stuff. Dedicated servers have punkbuster and are never launched in devmap mode so there are no problems with cheating, or even if there are any, its a tiny percent. You are telling me, that when i launch server in devmap mode called "DEVMAP Crysis-mod" with all configs for ALL players done (i mean that every player that joins got the same settings as me) so the chances are even, i make a hacked server... But if i make a mod that you have to install separately but would do IDENTICAL changes as the commands, is a legal and ok server... something is wrong with you. I wanna know the command because maybe i could make an easy and fun mod. And when everyone have everything the same (super jumps mega health etc.) its NOT cheating. its just changed gameplay. Oh btw, there is no possibility to cheat with /god /giveall /jump_height on normal servers unless host launch it in /devmap so your issues are kinda pointless.

Like I said, Crysis and COD are two different fantasies. I do not know much about server hosting but I do know most of the servers on COD games with dedicated servers enabled have hacked servers. So, you can't really know if that server is hacked or a standard modified server. That's what I was trying to say. The only way to find out is by playing in them. I go to a lot of the COD4 forums and I see a lot of PC players, I see them complain a lot about hacking. Well, complaining is a strong word to describe it, but I see a lot of discussions about them.

Finally, I'm sorry, but we don't have too many PC players here. I don't know about commands for more health, so I'm sorry I can't help you, dude.
