Enemies are able to see me before I can see them when peeking around a corner

When peeking around a corner, I am often killed before I see the enemy that kills me. When I see the killcam footage, the enemy can see me as if I had positioned myself beyond the corner and standing out in the open. It's like there's an offset in the geographical coordinates of my operator between my PC and the enemy player's PC/console. It's definitely not lag as I can be positioned for a few seconds before I'm killed.

This issue makes sniping almost impossible on most maps.

Anyone else have this problem?

(I have an AMD PC (5-5600/16/6800) and a 350Mbps cabled internet connection with around 20ms latency.)

We all have that problem. The developers are just buttheads
 
there is a known advantage to being on the move vs being stationary. to break it down to its simplest form.
The person on the move will get updated info from the server faster than a person who is "stationary" Thus someone moving has an advantage in who sees who 1st.
 
You're seeing things we've seen since beta. They didn't fix it in the final game, and they've been ignoring it since then.
 
This has been an ongoing issue since the inception of the game. The team made their money so they are more focused on the micro transactions and superpowers now
