The wait is nearly over! Treyarch and Activision are happy to announce that the Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike Content Pack launches worldwide for the PS3 on March 3rd, 2011.

PlayStation 3 owners will get their chance with the new Black Ops First Strike Map pack just over 1-month after it launched on the Xbox, Activision confirmed for the first time today.

The First Strike map pack will be available on the PlayStation 3 on March 3rd. PC owners, however, are still in the dark as to when the map pack will be available on their platform of choice. No confirmation of a release date for the PC version was mentioned.
