I Have Noticed A Recent Trend With COD

Has anyone else noticed the recent trend with Activision with their COD franchise to glorify villains??

I mean, last season it was Wraith & Knight.. Before that, everything seemed to be all about Stitch(??)... Now we have a new baddie who is billed as "The New Threat"...???

I can't help but wonder why all the bad guys?? Sure, there are a few good guys mixed in.. McClane and Rambo were added mid-season..

But it seems to me that TPTB are rolling out the bad guys a lot.. I have to wonder if it's some kind of Anti-American Anti-West attitude at work...



Or am I just being too sensitive or touchy, reading too much into it??

On the plus side, we still have McClane and Rambo!!

I thought they would be gone with the new season..

I'm not sure that I would call it a trend, I think there will be a convergence of storylines where the 'good guys' and justice will prevail in the end.

I think season 5 will show an ambiguous protagonist and then season 6 will have a twist.
