Hi gamers :D This is my story , in the last 5 years i played many games like counter strike 1.6 , pro evolution soccer , and league of legends , so i decided today to begin playing Call of Duty Advanced warfare as my new XBOX will come within a month , this is why i joined this forum just to find people and meet new friends , so we can play together the game and maybe create a team and play VS others ,cheers !

Welcome to the fold chaieb!

I was in the same situation.... was a Nintendo/PS1/PS2 guy until I found PC and XB. Switched over to XB360 for MW2 and I've been addicted ever since. I play with a ton of folks, ranging from 21 to about 50.

Don't care about age, just care about a love for the game. :)

Hey there! It's a nice game anyway. In the long run, you will enjoy the gameplay. Most of the members here are CoD pros so you'll have a lot of discussions with them. See yea.

Dude I'd stick to CS it's better.

CoD doesn't need learning, it's too casual. Just simple to play around with. It'll take a while to learn how to aim with a controller since it's worse than a mouse and keyboard, but you'll do fine. CS is infinitely more complex so you're already at an advantage.

Yes, you can close yourself off and only play CS.... Counter Strike is awesome. And it is complex.

OR you can play many games on many systems as possible and have more fun :)

People (not saying you moaz) seem to be really caught up on making you believe what they believe and trying to force you into enjoying things the way they do.

"PS4 is the best. NO XBOX ONE. No, screw you guys, PC Master Race!" - why do that? Why segregate?

Do you like playing games? Yeah? Cool. Get your fun how ever the hell you can. Console, PC, tablet, phone, physical card games, LARPing, WHATEVER.

He recommends stayin' with PC. I'm sayin' he's not wrong..but there's also more out there.

This game is so well rounded that it helps you with any other. I grew up playing COD and I can hop onto any other FPS and play reasonably well. You can also incorporate strategies from other games into COD. Take the jump-shot technique from Halo. Whenever you engage someone in Halo if you jump up your shots have a higher chance of hitting their head and their shots have a higher chance of hitting your lower body. I've used that same concept in many COD games for instant win. Good luck!

In my opinion I think call of duty 4 was the best of the series. It doesn't have the glitches the MW2 had. The connection was the best of the series- no dropped parties. There are no ridiculous kill streaks like chopper gunner, or dogs (no one should die from one dog bite). The maps were the best why else would they bring them back in MW2.

Call of Duty doesn't really require learning, you just have to play it extensively and have fun, and you will certainly become better over time. In fact, First Person Shooters in general don't need learning, only playing extensively.
