COD: BO Cold War runs just fine on my computer for a few days, then all of a sudden, it becomes incredibly slow and laggy. 5-10 mins just to get to the menu, massive slowdown/stutter/buffering, etc. then takes 5-10 mins to exit to desktop. The only fix is to uninstall the game, uninstall battle.net and reinstall both again. Then it runs perfectly for a few days before it happens again.
This doesn't happen with ANY other game.
I've tried everything; installing on both main drive (SSD) as well as secondary. Tried doing the 'repair' thing from battle.net app. Also tried reconfiguring shaders in Options > Graphics.
Does this happen to anyone else? I love the game but it's maddening to download 80 GB every few days...
Specs: Acer Nitro 5 laptop, i5 10400, RTX 3060 mobile, 8 GB RAM, 250 GB SSD
