My only concern is what will it really cost us to see this? I mean, what extras will we have to buy to enjoy it fully or are they going to release it over several seasons and really milk it to max out profits?

This is up to the theaters. So, if your theater in your area only sells films at $15, then, that's the price. Paramount merger is not going through at the moment. So, streaming is gonna be a staggered release.

Let me put it this way; Mortal Kombat II film came out May, but to stream they're on most platforms for $4.99 or above. BUT... for HBO Max if you are subscribed... you can watch on July 24. Same with Super Mario Galaxy on July 30 on Paramount.
