Problem with new DLC maps

I seem to be having a problem with the new maps and was hoping someone could advise?

I downloaded the new maps via elite and all was good for a few weeks, after having to download some new upgrades etc it's all gone to crap, I'm now being told that "searching for DLC content is now disabled for normal playlists"

I play on an Xbox elite and usually Hardcore ricochet TDM (advanced playlists) etc

Anyone know what the problem is?

Can you play them in normal playlists?
Also, you could try going to the multiplayer menu as if you were about to join a game and press BACK?
