Warzone rx580 VRAM!!

I have an xfx rx580 card and ryzen 5 1600 and 16gb of ram, as you can see by the pic that i have plenty of available MB, but COD is telling me i have limit of like 3000ish (see pic). i KNOW this pc has more capability than 3000ish, drivers are up to date as well, any guesses?thank you guys!

Something looks very off here. That card should have 8GB onboard RAM, but yours is only showing 4GB plus it looks like it is trying to claim 8GB of system memory.

Have you first checked that all of your drivers are up to date? Check your GPU, motherboard chipset and CPU drivers.

Also if the GPU has a BIOS switch try switching it over.

Maybe check both your motherboard and GPU for BIOS updates too.

Some GPUs have a switch on the side that goes between a safe/quiet setting and a performance/overclocked setting, I don't think your card has this.

XFX released the RX 580 in both 4GB and 8GB models, you can check which you have if you download and run GPU-Z from here, like in my screenshot below, there is evidence to support that you have a 4GB card in the picture you posted above, reposted below with BIOS information highlighted.

Can you confirm the exact model that you have and check on the XFX website to see what memory configuration was stated on the product page for your model.

If you bought this card used, it is possible that someone might have tried to update the firmware and messed up by putting a 4GB BIOS on there instead of a BIOS for the 8GB model, but if you have had it from new then I think it is case that you ended up with a 4GB GTS model instead of 1 of the 8GB GTR models.





Other things you can do are to check for CPU, GPU, and Chipset drivers in the Drivers and Support pages at AMD.com to make sure that you have the latest there, I would reinstall if it was my PC.

Check your Power Management settings are running on AMD Ryzen High Performance plan as this would give you better performance than running on Ultimate Performance Power Plan as this setting will make sure you're getting the veryt best performance that your AMD CPU can deliver.

Clean your PC with CCleaner but only download this from the official website, this will declutter your system and clear out redundant entries from your registry to help keep your PC running as fast as possible.
