Save feature for Private Match settings

Hi there

A friend of mine does alot of private matches (8's) and other such things. Everytime he has to host the match then a pre-set of rules/settings have to be put in. If the rules /settings could be saved and just accessed with a simple button it would save alot of time.

The importance of these rules being correct can save alot of hassle, cancelled matches and time that could be better spent actually playing the games and having fun.

If a dev or similar could comment on this that would be great, all other comments/viewpoints are welcome aswell.

Regards

My question is why whenever I want to exit the game CALL OF DUTY MODERN WARFARE III, I get a request to “save game data”?? Is there a way to do this manually or activate it automatically?

First off you should really start a new thread when asking a question that is different than the topic that started this thread.

What platform you are using would be a great help here!

When you leave a match right in the middle of it, you lose stats - for that match. That's what they're saying with the dialogue. The game automatically saves data after every match, because it has to handshake with the Activision servers.

Correct when I'm the middle of a match, but this message shows up before I start a match.
I mean if I just want to adjust my weapons or even if I just start the game and end it without doing anything!!!

Then, don't worry about it. It's just telling you in general, if YOU leave a game, all EXP, all kills in THAT match is lost. This is true when you exit a game, even a single player game - it tells you if you don't save the game before exiting, you lose all progress.

So if you DID nothing in that match, then you lost nothing besides a negative "record" of leaving the match. Yes, this is also true in ranked. They want to discourage "rage quits." They said it as much in the SBMM blog.
