Starting out

I'm doing my best to level up things but between that and dealing with higher leveled people in the 30-50 range it makes it near impossible. What is the best way to level up and be effective at some point?

You need to learn the maps a little bit, and start getting used to at least one or two weapons in the game. I am currently level 30+, with 20 EKIAs a match because I learned the maps a little bit and I am used to Cordite.
