Uplink Game Mode

I'm really, really excited for the Uplink game mode. I like the fast pace of the mode, plus the fact that you can technically use some real strategy if you're playing on a team and everyone's using voice chat. I think the faster than normal gameplay is what CoD needs more than anything else. Recent games have slowed the pace, and Advanced Warfare in general (and with Uplink) seems to be speeding things up again.

I mean, throwing a ball (drone...same thing) through a circle and killing people to stop them. It's good enough for me!

This definitely looks a lot of fun. I like the gamemodes that focus on keeping things moving, which is what it looks like this does. The gameplay videos have me pretty excited!

It's just a big wave. I know there's an explanation for it, since it happens throughout matches, but I can't remember. I do love that you can just jump into the water and swim, though. I always hated that about CoD, the fact that walking into too deep of a puddle would kill you instantly.

It's a 'Tsunami' that hits that map and changes how it plays, just showcases some of the dynamic map elements they're showcasing in this game.

So what you're saying is, they finally did what Ghosts was supposed to do with the dynamic maps? ;]

Well that's what they say so far. I've only seen it in that map up until this point.

I agree that it looks fun and I can't wait to try it! A new game mode can't possibly do any hurt. Hell, we should get way more new game modes, to freshen up the game. Knowing Activision... maybe as DLC?

Ok this may be a dumb question since i haven't watched a lot of the coverage on AW but when the video first starts and he's scanning through classes he's got primaries that are labelled "Professional", "Elite", etc... what is that? is there different classes of the same weapons?

Maybe but probably not. Each game has tried to add it's own multiplayer game mode to set it apart from everything else, and only Drop Zone has been that popular. I think Uplink will have some staying power, but it would be hard to implement into other Call of Duty games that don't share the exo suits and future setting.
