windows 11. sometimes itll run for hours, more often lately crashes within 5 to 15 min

everything is up to date. not overclocking. temps seem fine.

even crashes in safe mode. other games are fine.

does anyone know why during game it freezes and crashes and a box comes up with code on either close or scan and repair i have tried everything and still happens i have latest driver and updated windows and still crashes

Well fat lot of good posting did for me.

I did find something that helped.. Using MSI Afterburner I noticed by GPU temp was hovering right around the max (84). I raised the max to 88. Still rarely touches 84 but its stopped crashing as much

what are you cooling with, im running 5600x and 3090 ftw3 with aio and while gaming neither go over 62c

standard stock air coolers, fans top, front and back.

normally runs within the 40-50 temp rnage with maybe 60 on games. This is the ONLY game that drives the temp that high.
